Regarding Copyright Stuff

These last couple weeks, I've been getting feedback from the original artists in regards to how I give credit where it's due. I know I'm not exactly following the proper guidelines, but if an issue is brought to me, I will handle it as soon as possible and with the utmost care. I don't feel it's necessary to turn to deviantart administration to fix something of this nature. I encourage all to artists to come to me with problems in regard to accreditation. If you don't like that I have made one of your pieces into a pattern, I will remove it. No questions asked. I should have asked permission in the first place, but at the time I made these patterns, I figured since I wasn't selling them and the artwork is "out there" for the world anyway, that it wouldn't matter, and it has obviously bit me in the butt. So, I formally apologize for any inconvenience this has made. I will say again, though, that I encourage all artists to come to ME with copyright/accreditation issues so that I can fix them as soon as possible.
